Evesham Open Show 2012

15 July 2012
Judge: Miss Leila Tarabad

Best of Breed: Skyvana C’est Ma Souris Shadowknight
Res. Best of Breed: Skyvana No Nonsense
Best Puppy & TOY PUPPY GROUP 3: Skyvana No Nonsense

I was very disappointed in the quality of the Papillons in particular I found that movement left much to be desired. In some cases the dogs were in fantastic coat, had lovely outlines and had decent conformation and yet as soon as they began to move it all fell apart. Saying that, I was very pleased with the dogs I sent through to the group and was thrilled that the group judge also appreciated their quality.

Puppy (3)
1. Langdon’s Skyvana No Nonsense. Super 8 month B/W dog in fabulous coat for his age. Gorgeous symmetrically marked head with large well fringed ears, dark round eyes, very well proportioned skull, defined stop and fine muzzle of correct length. Good reach of neck leads to well laid shoulders, straight front, fine bone, well developed chest, perfect topline and tailset and great rear assembly. His sound conformation was reflected in his positive movement showing plenty of reach and drive, circling the ring in great style with his head held high. Lovely puppy who was only beaten by his sire for the top award. BP, RBOB, Puppy Group 3.
2. Price’s Connections Siljans White Star (imp).
3. Hill & Lyndon’s Wenanlee More Expectations.

Post Grad (4)
1. Hill’s Alwenil Footprint To Heaven. Small, well coated 3 year dog with sweet head and dark eyes. Fine boned, level topline, good length to body giving well balanced outline. Good sweep of stifle, parallel rear and high set tail carried correctly. Moved ok.
2. Jonusas’s Tamgapa Bobbydomas.
3. Lewis’s Melangel Pickle Pumpkin.

Open (7)
1. Langdon’s Skyvana C’est Ma Souris Shadowknight. 5 year beautifully matured r/s/w dog of correct size and substance. Noticed him when he first walked into the ring and was not disappointed when taking a closer look. Beautiful head so well proportioned with correct length of muzzle, perfectly placed expressive dark eyes and large mobile ears well fringed and correctly set. Perfectly balanced outline with correct length to height ratio (many were very square), good neck and shoulders, straight front, well sprung ribs, nicely angulated parallel rear and high set, well fringed tail plumed perfectly over his back. Easily the best mover in the class when viewed from any direction. Great to see he’s passed on many of his qualities to his beautiful son. BOB and Group 2 in fantastic company.
2. Brunsdon’s Avonraine Adonis To Havenbar.
3. Price’s Burghbridge Ura Golden Girl.
