Windsor Championship Show, unquestionable with Windsor Castle, the best back drop you could ever wish for. Those that make a week of a restful break in their caravans or motor homes there is so much to do each day. A leisurely boat trip with no doubt something called a glass perched between fingers, add to this the perfect sunshine and you have heaven in a bucket load. Windsor is a glorious place to browse, whether it should be the history or the retail therapy it is all there on tap for one and all to enjoy. The showground is just beautiful and the committee always work so hard to make it the perfect show for all the exhibitors.

Unfortunately, I was unable to make it this year but I really enjoyed seeing all the posts of the show. We can’t complain but maybe a tad too hot for the four paws but I am sure our caring exhibitors made extra special care that they were comfortable and in the shade as much as possible. I suspect the strawberries and cream and later in the day maybe an ice cream went down just perfect!

Breed specialist Mrs Pat Cox was at the helm for the day and I hope she enjoyed her judging. The principal winners were as follows: DCC/BOB Mrs I Ivani and Jo Davidson-Poston’s Slo Ch Whip Honey Double Smash Jun Ch Sh.CM, BCC Caroline Lee- Slater’s Ch Jorgealin Cast A Spell For Kingshaven, Best Puppy Sue Stanbury’s Inixia Ever Ready Eddie. For the RCC’s the RDCC went to Mrs A Broughton and Sue Stanbury’s Inixia Follower of Fashion, RBCC Ann Borg’s Ch Petress Dark and Daring, BV Pat Munn’s Smileline Silenzio Sunshine Garsiv. Dee Olaf took a lovely Spec Beg TGP1 with Tarnock Rock N Roll Rene under Toy Specialist Brian Rix. Congratulations to the principal and all the class winners of the day.

Jackie Green had a successful day with Moetica William (imp) at Wombwell & DCS Open Show, Mrs C Dunford (Quixol) judged both the breed and TGP and was awarded BOB/ TGP3.

Stay safe in the sun, remember the sun cream and drink plenty of fluids, I’ll leave you to choice your preference!
