16 July 2021 Breed Notes

Exhibitors are enjoying returning back to the shows after such a long Covid break since the last show Crufts March 2020.

The first show for our breed was Southern Counties Championship Show where Papillons were being judged by Jane Paradise, Toy Group Mark Cocozza, Toy Puppy Group Jacqui Ward, Toy Veteran Group Dr Ian Gabriel, Toy Junior Group Patsy Hollings and Special Beginners Toy Group Mrs Hazel Fitzgibbon.

It was a thrilling day for Katherine Bull taking her first Challenge Certificate with Altaya Star Attraction. Miss K and Mrs A Bull the DCC and then, putting the icing on the cake going on to take BOB. What a marvellous day, a memory that will stay with you forever Katherine I am absolutely thrilled for you.

There was another thrilling moment at the show for Susie and Margaret Orchard taking the BCC with Panspayon Jewel Of The Nile. You must have all gone home on cloud 9. Congratulations.
Best Puppy In Breed was Mrs C & Mrs C Lee Slater & Kewley with Magic Sunrise Natalia (imp LVA) naf/taf .
The RDCC CH/IR CH/NL CH/INT CH Spinillons Rebel Rowser JW SHCM, CW14 , VW, SHC (MRS J DAVIDSON-POSTON).
Also taking Best Veteran In Breed and Toy Veteran Grp3.
RBCC Spinillons Double Trouble (Phalene)(MRS J DAVIDSON-POSTON).
A winning day with both your dog and bitch, well done.
Best Junior in Breed was Miss H Marsdens Finity Blaze Of Glory who also took Best Special Beginners. You must have been chuffed to bits.

The next show was at East Of England Championship Show. This time the judge was Ann Stevenson., Toy Group Margaret Mallow and Toy Group Mr G A Dymock.

Here Carol Lees must have had a huge smile on her face taking a first cc with Lafford Golden Child JW and then topping it off with BOB. What a great start back to the shows Carol and Brian.
Dcc went to Katherine Bull and Mrs A Bull with Altaya Star Attraction.
RDCC I should imagine a delighted Mrs L & Mr R Slater & Da Silva Sunrise Brigand with Burghbridge (Imp LVA).
RBCC Jane Thomson and Sandra Austin’s Melangel Enchanting Evita At Jhanakia.
A truly winning day for Jane and Sandra as they also took Best Veteran with Jhanakia Highland Minuet
Best Puppy In Breed Mrs D L Watson Buoncas Zis Levi .

Congratulations to everyone, I am so pleased your return to the shows was full of excitement.

I hope the shows although perhaps different from the norm was enjoyable to all the exhibitors present at the two shows. Excited to see what the results are the next up and coming shows.
