26 April 2019 Breed Notes

Those of you who have the Cream Eggs still on the shelf, put your hands up? I bet there are not many, but then you were trying to save someone else from putting on the extra pounds. Yeh right!

Lizzie Morley and Robert Hitchcock kindly brought me the news that at Wellingborough DCS Jorgealin Indian Magic at LizLanMor JW won BOB with an entry of twenty one Papillons Carol Lees with her youngster Lafford Golden Child took BPIB. The judge was Alan Carter.

At South Western Toy Dog Club Show Breed Specialist Rosemarie Hobson (Rosenjon) judged the breed. She found Susie and Margaret Orchard’s Ringlands Yoko’s Solo At Panspayon shCM as her BOB, RBOB Hazel Malcolm’s Feorlig It Must Have Been Love and BP Sue Stanbury’s Inixia Annabelle.

Torquay and DCS saw a repeat of the above awards with Orchard’s Ringlslands Yoko’s Solo At Panspayon shCM as BOB and BP Stanbury’s Inixia Annabelle.

South Wales Papillon Club held their Open show with breed specialist Michelle Osborne (Tykkydewas) taking the helm. The committee as usual toiled away with Len, Bethany and Cerys making sure everyone had the refreshments for the day. Jo and Kathryn manned the table all day. Margaret Unwin had been busy at home in the kitchen making homemade Welsh Cakes and Barra Brith. Susie and Margaret Orchard gave a donation to the club and also made enough delicious desserts for all to enjoy. The clubs Patron Pat Munn also gave a donation and a gift for the judge. Due to the donations everyone attending were treated to free beverages. Sounds like the exhibitors had a brilliant day. Well done to all the committee for all the work they put in for the show.

The principal winning dogs were as follows. BIS Skyvana Tom Thumb Sarasha JW, RBIS Inixia Follower Of Fashion, BOSIS Ringlands Yoko’s Solo At Panspayon shCM, BPIS Skyvana Xpose, RBPIS / BMPIS Finity Rewrite The Stars, BVIS Inixia Delightful Dan JW shCM. and lastly BPHIS Pinkmead Delightful Eve.

Kathryn Sellick (Inixia) put the juniors through their paces and awarded Isabella Cox Best Junior Handler.

Congratulations, to everyone who attended.

Good luck at the shows and take care travelling. Meet up with you all next week.
