30 December 2016 – Dog World

Happy New Year everyone whether you reside in the UK or across the globe. My wish to all is that 2017 brings peace, happiness, health and most of all harmony in what ever your life’s involvements may be.

What sad news to hear that Pat Munn of the Ringlands kennel has had a heavy fall at home and has broken her hip. This has been operated on and Pat hope to be home in time for Christmas. Sending you lots of love Pat and we wish you a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing you at the shows very soon. I hope Santa brought you a very special gift this year, as you certainly deserve to be at the top of his list.

Christine Foynes has just has some super news from the results from the hospital, this I am delighted to hear. You have battled on this year always positive and with a broad smile. Both your and Aiden should be so proud of yourselves. Just the Christmas and New Year you both deserve. Yipee.

No news has come through for Open Shows except a show that I attended at Oakengates in Telford. Oakengates is a lovely Christmas show with plenty of Christmas background songs and merriment to get everyone in the festive mood. Always a lovely show and very well run by the committee.

I think we all would have loved to have had a Christmas boogie during the TPGP listening to ‘I wish it could be Christmas’ from the speakers. Karis (Gleniren For Your Eyes Only) took a lovely TPGP2 behind Avril’s very sweet Pom, so a super day all round. Jill Peak was judging the breed and Lynn Crane the TPGP. It was nice to see so many friendly faces just before the holidays and a lovely surprise to see Kyle Cadmore from Dorwest Herbs showing his stewarding skills. The Christmas outfit that Petula Humprey’s was wearing looked amazing and very festive for the occasion.

I wish everyone in the dog world a very merry Christmas and happiness and joy in the coming year.
