Critique

Thank you to all the exhibitors for this lovely entry. I thought there was a real depth of quality, interesting to find no light eyes or incorrect mouths. It was difficult to be consistent in finding type in heads, however, bodies were in general well balanced and sound. Heads I found varied from being too heavy in muzzle or too pointed, so more difficult to find type. Thank you to the excellent stewards that kept the ring flowing at a good pace

MPD (9, 2)
1 Langdon Skyvana Van Helsing 7 months puppy very attractive head and expression well place ears. Sound straight front, kept a level topline on the move with well angulated hind quarters. A promising puppy.
2 Olof Tarnock Romeo tri colour same age as winner, slightly bigger in frame, again with a pleasing head with well-framed ears. Sound on the move with a good outgoing temperament.
3 Broadhurst Paparpttsoe Neon Blue at Thistlemist

PD (5, 0)
1 Stanbury Inixia Ever Ready Eddie 10 months red sable well balanced and of correct size. Well set ears, fringing developing. He moved soundly in all directions keeping a level topline. Happy to award him BPB. One with a bright future I am sure.
2 Urquhart Blackpark Tim another promising puppy good head and expression correct mouth. Good reach of neck with a level topline. Well fringed tail. Not quite as settled on the move as the winner. A lovely exhibit unlucky to meet winner.
3 Robb Gleniren Moonlight Magic

1 Olof Ms D Tarnock Rock N Roll Rene 12 months just out of puppy class, a stunning little dog with lots of attitude. Lovely head with well-set ears, dark eyes and correct mouth with good nose pigment. Correct tailset and croup, kept a level topline on the move. Another high quality dog.
2 Lanson Cantoverde Captain Casper very attractively marked tricolour, well set ears which were well feathered. He had dark eyes, good nose pigment and correct mouth. Again, with a level topline. Looked good on the move not quite as positive as the winner in the front but a lovely dog.
3 Whitehill & Urwin Paparottsie Talk the Talk

1 Boughton & Stanbury Inixia Follower of Fashion 18 months tri colour, lovely make and shape. Correct amount of bone with good feet. He had well set ears with an intelligent expression. Looked good on the move.
2 Morrell Serenglade Leap of Faith for Temelora phalene with a pretty head and eyes, has a correct mouth. He kept a level topline. His tail is well set on. He would benefit if slightly longer in neck but he is a quality dog.

PGD (4, 1)
1 Geary Taliesyn Black Walnut 2 years tri colour small and dainty, well balanced little dog. He just lacked a little in his coat. Sound on the move with a good temperament.
2 Broadhurst Thistlemist the Dream Genie red and white good conformation. He looked lovely stacked but unfortunately just dropping his tail on the move today. Sweet head and expression and well-placed ears.

I was happy to award him DCC & BOB and pleased to see him take Toy Group 3 later in the day.
2 Miller & Ryan Feorlig Smarty Pants JW Sh.CM 2 years sable very pretty head and expression with correct tapered muzzle. Well balanced dog with nice feet. Unlucky to meet the winner, happy to award him the RDCC.
