I’d like to say thank you to the committee for asking me to stand in for Judge Bethan Evans. Also, thank you to all those who had entered and all those who attended. It was a privilege to judge so many lovely butterflies. I hope everyone enjoyed the day.
Veteran Dog 4 (0)
1st Keown’s Jorgealin Midnight Magic for Kingshaven – 7-year-old tri coloured quality dog. This dog looks balanced in profile and has a lovely head with rounded skull, correct length of muzzle, good dentition and excellent ear placement. He has a lovely expression with dark eyes and pigment. His neck is of medium length and he has well placed sloping shoulders, a level topline and good spring of rib. Excellent hare feet and well-turned stifle. It was on the move he shone with his lovely parallel movement front and back. pleased to award him BVIS RBD
2nd Maskell’s Kazkell Robin the Limelight JW SHCM VW at almost 9 years old this lemon sable boy is still in great condition. A lovely sized dog with a head of correct proportions with large well-set ears and a dark eye. He has a good spring of rib and abundant silky coat. His excellent tail set formed a well fringed plume completing the picture. Moved well.
Minor Puppy Dog 3 (1)
1st Cooper’s Wilachans Bollie 8-month-old red sable boy who caught my eye on entering the ring. I liked his lively attentive attitude and he was dainty with fine bone. Lovely head shape with a well-defined stop, dark eye and pigmentation, good dentition. Shoulders well developed, level topline and decent spring of rib. Tail set lovely and on the move, he excelled, a little showman. BPD
2nd Maskell’s Blackpark Doing the Lucamotion 7-month-oldtri coloured boy. This dog has a lot of promise though currently as you would expect he has a lot of maturing to do. He has a nice, rounded skull and fabulous well set large ears. I would have preferred a slightly deeper stop. A lovely level topline and nice tail set. His coat is developing well and he has excellent hare feet. Moved well.
Puppy Dog 1 (0)
1st McGrath’s Paplene you have Faith 10-month-old Black and white phalene dog of larger size. This dog unfortunately lacked pigment having a partially pink nose. He had a rounded skull, a decent stop and good dentition. Mediumlength of neck, level topline. Moved ok.
Junior Dog 4 (1)
1st Masheder’s Keomandi Jason 16-month-old red sable and white boy. Liked his head proportions, expression and ear set. Good dentition, medium neck and well-developed sloping shoulder. Good spring of rib, level topline and nice tail set. Excellent front movement but at times his back movement was a little erratic due to him barking intermittently. He had attitude!
2nd Kerrison’s Lastayla Caramel Shortcake 12-month-old red sable and white boy. Lovely head with nice large mobile ears set correctly and dark eye and pigment. Medium neck, well placed shoulders and level topline. Good tail set and plenty of silky coat. When moved unfortunately he wasn’t moving in a straight line today which affected overall flow but a lovely promising young dog.
Yearling Dog 6 (2)
1st Hector’s Amber Beauty Valentino at Taisett NAF (IMP) 17-month-old attractive, dainty, tri boy. Lovely head with correct length of muzzle, well defined stop and large mobile well-set ears. Silky coat developing well, hare feet and excellent tail set arching over back. Moved well.
2nd Milroy’s Lafford Inspector Lewis of Farthinghall 18-month-old black and white dog who presented a good profile. He has abundant silky coat for his age. Good head proportions, large mobile ears and dark eye. Well sprung ribs. Today a little erratic on the move but overall an appealing dog.
Novice Dog 4 (1)
1st Green & Cooper’s Glendian Blake at Wilachans 2-year-old red sable dog. Decent head with rounded skull, correct length of muzzle, well defined stop, good ear set and dentition. Dark eye but lacked pigment in rims round eyes. Medium neck, good spring of rib and well-developed silky coat. Would prefer a slightly longer tail. Moved well coming and going.

1st Kerrison’s Kezkez Signore Nico Rosberg 19-month-oldsmaller dainty black and white pretty dog. Petite head with rounded skull and a fine muzzle. Large mobile well fringed ears, level topline held on the move. Coat and fringes developing well. Good tail set. Moved well.
2nd McGrath’s Elfugo Dfor AW(S) 3-year-old tri dog who looked good in profile. Unfortunately, on the table he was not happy today. I did like his expression, head shape and ear set. He had a decent spring of rib, well developed shoulders, and a level topline. Lovely silky coat and moves well.

1st Thompson & Austin’s Skyvana Catch me at Jhanakia JW – 2-year-old black and white dog. A dainty butterfly with a balanced head and lovely large well-set ears. Level topline held on the move. Nice length of tail, correct hare feet. Moved well.
2nd Headley’s Yeldeah’s Mr Chizlewick – 20-month-old red sable boy. He has a lovely expression, and I liked his head shape and large mobile well-fringed ears. Good dentition, medium length of neck. Well-developed silky coat and correct hare feet. Fabulous tail set. Unfortunately, today he wasn’t settled on the move.

1st Davidson-Poston’s Dual Ch Sky Butterfly Elven Cron Prince Spinillons SHCEX SK WINNER 23 (IMP RUS) – 2-year-old tri-coloured dog who is stunning in profile. He has a beautiful head of the correct proportions, a well-defined stop and fabulous large, mobile well-fringed ears. Good dentition, dark eyes and rims. Medium neck leading to well-laid shoulders and a good spring of rib. He is fine boned and has lovely hare feet. Well presented with a single silky coat of good length. His movement was parallel coming and going and he flowed round the ring with a light purposeful action which was a joy to watch. BD, BIS
2nd Ryan’s Feorlig Takes the Biscuit – 1 year old tri-coloured dog. This young dog had lovely large well set mobile ears with good fringing for his age. Skull slightly rounded between his ears, well defined stop, dark eyes and rims. Good dentition and medium length of neck. Lovely straight front with good spring of rib for his age. Level topline held on the move. I liked his lovely long tail set on high. Very sound on the move and had a lively personality just as a papillon should.

1st Davidson-Poston’s Multi Ch (3) Ari De Pari Eadlin DarylynSpinillons Sarajevo/BKS/SK WIN23(IMP RUS) – 7-year-old red sable phalene girl shown in excellent condition. I liked her head shape and well-set ears which had abundant fringing. Lovely dark eyes and rims and a very endearing expression. Shoulders well developed and sloping with a deep chest. Level topline and good muscle definition. Long fine silky coat which was in immaculately presented. Moved well.
2nd Maskell’s Ch Milbu Warlock at Kenf JW IMP LVA – 7-year-old black and white girl. She was certainly a lively veteran. She had a lot to like and didn’t stop wagging her tail. Good head shape of correct proportions, nice large ears and good pigmentation. Level topline and beautiful hare feet. Single silky coat. Today she was a little erratic on the move due to her enjoyment of her time in the ring.
Minor Puppy Bitch 2 (0)
1st Ryan’s Feorlig Mrs Bucket – 8-month-old tri-coloured puppy with a lovely attitude. She has fabulous large well-set mobile ears with good fringing for her age, a slightly rounded skull with dark eyes and rims. Good dentition, medium length of neck with decent spring of rib and a well-developed, sloping shoulders. She has a level topline, held on the move. Her coat is developing well and she has correct hare feet. Her movement was parallel coming and going, very positive on the move, flowed round the ring. BPIS
2nd Maskell’s Graycaz Tipsy Truffle – 6-month-old tri-coloured phalene girl. She was a little nervous on entering the ring but soon gained in confidence.Slightly rounded skull with a finely pointed muzzle, nice dark eyes and pigmentation. Medium length of neck and a level topline. Once she settled she had a lovely attitude moving round the ring.
Puppy Bitch 3 (1)
1st Lanson’s Empire of Havanna Wu Wen at Cantoverde (IMP NLD) – 11-month-old tri-coloured girl who was very confident throughout the class. I loved her large mobile ears with rounded tips and her length of muzzle. Good dentition, medium length of neck and level topline. Her coat is coming in well for her age. Good spring of rib and correct tail set. She moved with confidence and drive, parallel coming and going. A very promising puppy.
2nd Kerfoot & Kerfoot’s Flutterby Holly Blue – 10-month-old tri-coloured girl smaller in size and less mature than number 1. She had a nice head shape with a slightly rounded skull and well-set large ears. I liked her dark eyes and the length of her muzzle. She had a good stop and correct dentition. Medium length of neck and level topline held on the move. Her silky coat is coming on well and she had a nice tail set.
Junior Bitch 5 (0)
1st Pinder’s Afterglow Barbette with Starmala – 13 month old tri-coloured girl who had lots of attitude. A lively dainty butterfly who looked lovely in profile. Correct head shape, nice large well-set ears, dark eye and good length of muzzle. Medium length of neck with well-developed sloping shoulders and a decent spring of rib. Level topline held on the move. Lots of silky coat and fringes for her age. She needs to settle when moving at times but when she did her movement was positive, free flowing and lovely to watch. 2nd Keown’s Keomandi Just Call Me Angel – 16-month-old red sable and white dainty girl. She had a lovely head with beautiful well set mobile ears, dark eye, nice stop and an endearing expression. Medium length of neck leading to her fine boned forelegs set on correct hare feet. She had a lovely level topline held on the move and a balance which showed in profile and on the move. Well set tail arching over her back completed the picture. Her movement was parallel coming and going. Her single silky coat is developing and once she has fully matured she will be one to watch.
Yearling Bitch 5 (0)
1st Lee’s Lafford Pot of Gold – 22-month-old red sable and white with fabulous large mobile ears and a lovely dark eye. Medium length of neck, good spring of rib and a nice straight front. Good length of leg, level topline held on the move and a well-set tail completing the picture. She moved positively round the ring. She had beautiful hare feet, and her coat was silky and developing well.
2nd Keown’s Keomandi I Can Fly – 17-month-old Lemon tri with the kindest expression. She has beautiful dark eyes, correct head proportions and very large mobile ears. Nice front and rear angulation, a level topline and plenty of body and spring of rib. She moved well round the ring with her well-set arched tail and hare feet completing the picture.

1st Lee’s Lafford Pot of Gold – See Yearling Bitch
2nd Mowatt & Mowatt’s Iotastar’s Hopes and Dreams – 22-month-old Red sable and white quality girl who was a little nervous on the table today. She had a lovely head shape with a gorgeous expression and plenty of ear fringing. Lovely conformation flowed round the ring with her well-set tail arched over her back completing the picture. Lots of single silky coat and lovely hare feet.
Graduate Bitch 2 (1)
1st Headley’s Yeldaeh’s Mrs Pepperpot – 20-month-old pretty red sable and white dainty girl. I liked her head shape and ear set with fabulous ear fringing. She had a very kind expression. Medium length of neck, level topline and moved well. I loved her single silky coat and her tail set which resulted in a well-furnished plume arching over her back.
Postgraduate Bitch 3 (2)
1st Cooper’s Wilachans Lizzy – 21-month-old tri-coloured smaller, dainty girl. She had a good head with a decent stop and dark eyes, lovely well set large mobile ears with fringing developing. Medium length of neck, good spring of rib. Moved well coming and going. I liked her tail set and her beautiful single silky coat.
Limit Bitch 4 (1)
1st Cooper’s Wilachan’s Bindie – 2-year-old tri-coloured bitch who was confident, outgoing and lively. She had good head proportions, well set ears and dark pigment. Nice spring of rib, good angulation front and rear, she moved with purpose, flowing round the ring. Single, silky coat and a good tail set.
2nd Kirk’s Lynflyer Rainbow Dancer at Kirkchase – 3-year-old tri-coloured girl who is so pretty. I loved the proportions of her head, her beautiful expression and lovely large ears with ample fringing. She looked lovely in profile but today on the move I felt she lacked drive.

1st Davidson-Poston’s Elena Kolekcja Szuwarka SpinillionsJW (IKC) – 13-month-old beautiful tri-coloured bitch. She has a wonderful expression, correct head proportions and fantastic ear set with lots of fringing. She looked gorgeous in profile. Nice straight front leading to a good spring of rib and a level topline. Lovely silky coat and a well-set tail arching over her back completed the picture.
2nd Cooper’s Wilachans Bo – 3-year-old Light red sable who had a lot to like. Dainty, feminine girl with correct head proportions, well laid shoulder and a good spring of rib. She had a lovely topline held moving and standing. Her movement was parallel viewed from front and behind. She had a good tail set arching over her back. A quality girl just lacking in coat today.
