I feel that I have always connected with this attractive, perky little breed and its custodians so it was a great pleasure to be judging the males for the Papillon Club Championship show along with Amanda Bruce-Jackson, the Bitch judge and Rob Sansom the BIS judge.
In most classes I was able to find what I consider good breed representatives. I’m not going to go into the nitty gritty but my overriding observation was the lack of quality in depth. Temperaments were brilliant and exhibits functional but head type and attributes do need watching. I was pleased with the entry and all present helped to create a memorable day.
