30 December 2022 Papillon Breed Notes
Happy New Year everyone, here begins a new year and a new show calendar for 2023.
For some exhibitors perhaps there is the exciting prospect of new puppies and for others the beginning of the goal of the magical champion title. Or perhaps it is receiving a card at a championship show or an award at an Open Show, whatever it may be I sincerely hope your dreams become a reality.
LKA was the last general championship show of the year and folk are always excited to be there. This year did not disappoint. The show was as usual well laid out and all rings were of a spacious size. Last time at the NEC for LKA so for 2023 it is Stafford here we come.
For this show the judge was to be breed specialist Mrs Amanda Bruce-Jackson (Tijuana). Queenie Bruce her Mum had made a special trip to the show as a surprise, I am sure that made the judge very happy to see her.
The judge went over the dogs very calmly and expertly always making sure both the exhibitors and their charges were happy in their classes.
The principal winners of the day were as follows.
A delighted Chris and Bob Anderson DCC/ BOB with Pappretty Grt Expectations, BP Mary Whitehill’s Lilacrose Tri This Talent, congratulations also to the breeder Karen Diprose. BV Aidan Foynes’s Lafay Petite Etoile JW.
