7th April 2023 Papillon Breed Notes

Northern and Eastern Counties Papillon Club held their Open Show and taking the helm for the days judging was Daphne Watson. From all the news that I have seen on Facebook the show went very well with a lovely atmosphere during the day.

It was sad to read the news that a long standing committee member of Northern and Eastern Counties Papillon Club had passed away. John Edson was a main stream of the club for many years and also took on the role of secretary in 2003 for a number of years. John’s other interests were steam trains, working as a volunteer at York Railway Museum. John was also fascinated with old cameras and slide show equipment. He will be sadly missed and condolences go to John’s wife Jenny and close family members.

Take care of yourself on the roads when travelling to the shows and give those four paws lots of cuddles.
