We are now in the run up to Crufts, I have been going to this show for over 40 years and I have seen it develop into truly the biggest show in the world for the public and exhibitors alike. We have such wonderful support for the breed from our overseas friends, bringing us all together at the NEC. Our breed specialist judge this year is no stranger to us Mark Whitehill is the son of Mary and Ted Whitehill and it is wonderful to see a family with three generations of Papillon lovers. Young Holly made up her first Champion last year. If you are going to Crufts this year do pop along to the Breed Stand in Discover dogs and say hello.
A lot of hard work goes into the four days at Crufts by our breed representatives. Also if you are thinking of having a Papillon as a family pet it is your opportunity to discuss the breed and to see some Paps close up. We do have a wonderful rescue service that helps Paps that find themselves requiring a new lap to sit on.
